Now through February 10, catch the Newark Museum’s show, “Objects of Desire: 500 Years of Jewelry.” Ronnie Lambrou and I took in the show last year, but new items have been added. There is some wonderful contemporary beading, as well as antique jewelry and other jeweled objects. The Victorian mourning jewelry made from human hair is amazing. While you are there, be sure to see the Native American exhibit, which has a lot of great beaded objects. There are many restaurants within a short walking distance, and parking at the museum is easy.
